3. Setting your cookie preferences

When you first connect to the Formind website, a banner briefly presenting information on the deposit of cookies appears at the bottom of your screen, allowing you to accept or refuse the deposit of cookies. You can change your cookie preferences at any time, by clicking on the “padlock” icon at the bottom right of any page on our site.

3.1. Cookies exempt from consent

In accordance with the guidelines of the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), certain cookies do not require your prior consent insofar as :

  • They are strictly necessary for the operation of the website insofar as
  • They benefit from an exemption from consent under strictly defined conditions.

Matomo is configured to comply with the requirements of the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) thanks to the following features:

  • Users tracked by Matomo are not “identifiable” thanks to the anonymization of their IP address. The last two bytes of each IP address are removed (the ipv4 address 192.168.110.30 becomes 192.168.0.0), making it impossible to precisely identify visitors;
  • You may at any time revoke your previously authorized cookie deposit rights by accessing the cookie management module;
  • Visitors who have specifically activated their browser’s “Do not track” directive will never be tracked;
  • Raw data stored by Matomo is purged every 6 months.

The data collected preserves your anonymity and is not passed on to third parties or used for any other purpose. However, you may object to the use of this information by clicking on the “padlock” icon at the bottom right of any page on our site.

3.2. Cookies requiring your prior consent

This requirement concerns cookies issued by third parties and qualified as persistent in that they remain on your terminal until they are deleted or expire. Formind has set the lifetime of these cookies to 6 months. Social network sharing cookies enable you to share content on our site with other people. This processing of your personal data is based on your consent.

These cookies are deposited directly by these social networks. If you are connected to the social network while browsing our Site/Application, the sharing buttons enable you to link the content you consult to your user account.

This is notably the case for “Share” buttons, which are issued by social networks such as “Facebook”, “Twitter”, “LinkedIn”, etc. We have no control over the process used by these third parties to collect information relating to your browsing habits, and associated with the personal data they hold.

We invite you to consult the privacy protection policies of these third parties in order to learn about the purposes for which they may use the browsing information they may collect through their services, particularly for advertising purposes. In particular, these protection policies should enable you to exercise your choices with regard to these third parties, notably by configuring your user accounts for each of these services.

If you do not wish our site to save Cookies in your browser for this purpose, you can click on the following deactivation links, which will save a Cookie in your browser whose sole purpose is to neutralize the use of other Cookies from the same issuer.

Deactivating these cookies will prevent you from interacting with the social network(s) concerned:

  • For Facebook
  • For Twitter
  • For LinkedIn
  • For Google
